Working Together Working Together is John's first new CD since the 2007 release "All Around Us." The CD includes fifteen new songs that will have you singing, laughing, and looking for an Ice Cream Shop. Most of the songs are geared for third grade and younger but some, such as the parody of the Itsy Bitsy Spider, are for adults too and children of any age. The CD features brilliant keyboard player and producer Jeff Miller, world renowned African drummer Kofi Donkor, superb Sax player Scott Harper, and other terrific singers. Included are several songs that teachers asked me to record. |

All Around Us For over fifteen years Ive been visiting schools to sing with students and teachers. Many of these visits have included songwriting residencies. This CD about Science and Nature features some songs that were started during residency programs. These songs are meant to be enjoyed and changed. The versions presented here are ones I wrote but I had plenty of songswriting help along the way. Each group I work with creates their own verses to the songs. I hope you will write your own songs too. Its a great way to learn and remember. To help you get started I have included three instrumental only tracks and suggestions for songwriting. Id love to hear about your experiences, and Id be happy to share your songs with others. Please email me at my web site Home page. Thanks. Keep singing and writing! |

have taken many different forms. But one thing remains
constant: adults are forever changed by the arrival of a
child. The love and sense of wonder they feel for this
small life deepen as each day passes. In this tender
picture book, John Farrell and Maurie J. Manning
illustrate the emotional connections between grown-ups
and their children. This delightful hardcover book is now
on sale for just $16.95. |

| It's
Just a Game A soccer team is having lots of fun before the game. But once the game begins, the fun is over. The coach of the opposing team yells and calls people names. But it's his team that wins the game. As the children enjoy their post-game ice cream, a grown-up blames one of the players for perceived faults in how the game was played. Has everyone forgotten it's just a game? Sports should be fun, especially when you're young. John Farrell reminds everyone of this in his first picture book. Meet The Illustrator: John Emil Cymerman was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvanian. He studied at the Hussina School of Art where he later taught illustration for nine years. His work has received a number of awards, including the Art Directors Club of Philadelphia Gold Medal and their Award for Excellence. It's Just a Game is the ninth children's book he has illustrated. John lives with his wife and children in Pitman, New Jersey. |
